The Town

Real and unique valley town in the Sardinian territory, it is situated to the feet of the Val di Lerno, and it is dominated from the Monte Nieddu and from healthy and greens hills. It enjoys an optimal position, being distant only few kilometers from rinomate bathing localities which San Teodoro, Olbia, Porto Rotondo and the Costa Smeralda.

Its natural beauties and the climate make it one tourist goal for italians and foreigns; thanks also to its numerous agrituristiche companies that make its exquisite native produce known all over the world: wine, sweet and bitter honey, cheeses, salami and cold pork meats, homemade bread and cakies.

In 1996 it have become independent Commune, the most recent one on all the Italian territory, and today is equipped of evolved public and social services, to disposition of residents and visitors.
